Scripture: Daniel 6:3 (KJV) “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”
Insight
Daniel’s elevation was not a product of manipulation or rivalry but the result of an excellent spirit—a life marked by integrity, diligence, wisdom, and faithfulness to God. Even in a foreign land and hostile environment, Daniel stood out because God’s presence distinguished him. This verse reminds us that when we walk uprightly and remain committed to God, divine favor speaks louder than opposition, and God promotes His people at the right time.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word today. As You distinguished Daniel with an excellent spirit, I ask that You fill me with wisdom, integrity, and faithfulness in all I do. Let Your presence set me apart for Your glory. Cause my work, character, and conduct to attract divine favor. Silence every voice of opposition and position me for the promotion You have ordained. I declare that I will stand out for good and fulfill Your purpose for my life.
